hi mates
i have been shipping several items to 1970 to 1989 au z owners in the past year and thought you guys might want to consider letting me send my nice used or buy some new items for you and have ONE big box shipped to au for distribution at your end.
surface shipping from canada is far cheaper than air on large items like a set of t-tops wieighing 43 lbs i sent to tasmania last week for about $160 shipping vs the $500 plus via air.
we have a few au members in our 500 plus member z club in atlantic canada btw and i am the vp but also the main parts guy.
even if only 2 or 3 guys split the cost of getting the parcel on au soil you guys will save a lot in shipping.
plus as you know many us ebay sellers will not ship outside the lower 48 states or canada.
every tranaaction will go thru paypal for the protection of all concerned with insurance and tracking on all items
anyones comments

I've found that shipping stuff depends on its weight, so you don't really save anything by combining stuff together, because you still get charged the almost the same for shipping as you would if they were separate. Then any saving made is lost when you have to post stuff once it has arrived to the other people. _________________ Yeah I got 31's. Both kinds. Z and R 31s |

I believe Jim is offering to sell us things from his parts cars, as well as buy new (and used?) parts over there on our behalf, and throw them all in one box to save on postage. Correct me if I'm wrong? _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Ahh, didn't see this before posting. Apparently you can get large flat rate box's over there, iirc thats what Jason said when I was talking to him about the z31parts.com group buy. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

i think some of you guys missed the point
many us z parts sellers will NOT ship outside canada and the US.
i am a veteran ebay seller btw with over 600 worldwide shipments.
i recently sent several large and small boxes to au withing weeks of each other which is a shame because of the shipping cost on the individual items.
i have about 1000 good used z parts from 1970 to 1989 models btw
btw our club z site got hacked and our webmaster is rebuilding it.. still a ton of work to do on the tech tips..links etc
we have over 500 worldwide registered members and over 900,000 hits on our site in our 4 years

i forgot to mention the stuff i send goes by canadapost surface shipping for the lower rate and the weight limit is 44 lbs per box
heavy stuff like hubs and calipers would be very close to the limit if not over
a pair of tops come in at about 35 fwiw
i do have one set of z31 2+2 tops which i discovered is the only size used in au on the z31..no coupes there

i have a z sean going to be getting a 280zx console and a few other items from me shortly headin to au.
if any of you guys need small stuff that might be able to tag along now is the chance to list your needs to see if its possible.
send your wish list to racgibbs@nbnet.nb.ca and also post it here so i can follow the thread.
i am assumming that the guy with the largest amount of parts will get the order deiveredto him and the small stuff they will post out from there.
paypal on all transactions for everyones safety.
as an example if mitch in sydney only wanted a few emblems valued at $20 vs seans $100 parts. mitch would sent sean the appropiate $20 and shipping split they agree to via paypal. sean then paypals me the total shipment amount for both parties and thats the tracking number i provide to both people.
thanks

I may be biased, but the Kaminari kit would be ncier on your car imo _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

yes correct but. majority of their stuff is discontinued, and you can pretty much only get their front and rear bars.
besides i do actually prefer one of the style auto kits, it just gives the car a classier look. _________________ name; Joojoo

Haha fair enough. Yeah, it's a pretty nice kit still.
