I saw a Supra parked on the side of the freeway last week. It was night time, but it looked in ok condition.
Just passed it again today (one week later), and the back is all smashed in, windows broken, bonnet up.
You cant leave a car anywhere these days without people thinking its fair game to smash it up and steal stuff off it.
Theres a post on the supra forums about it, and you would think they would respectful of another supra owners property, but they are all like, lets go and steal bits off it. What if it was their car, and it had broken down, and they had left it till morning to come back for it and found it all smashed up and wheels and other stuff stolen off it?
Sure it's probably stolen and abandoned, but what if the guy doesn't have insurance? was in fair condition a week ago, but its a complete write-off now
Despicable.

Ahh yeah, I read about that on the r31 forums. Apparently it's a bunbury car.
Edit: And yeah, couldn't agree more about the rest of your post. I've heard a few rumors of wreckers grabbing abandoned cars late at night too. It's pretty discusting. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Years ago near whitfords ave on the freeway, some guy climbed into the boot of his car and shot himself. The car was reported, the cops came and took the plates off it, didn't notice the dead guy in the boot. ot the bullet hole in the side of the car. The car sat there for over a week. When the car was finally about to be towed away they noticed. Think it was the towie that found him.
The government was pretty embarrassed about the whole matter, and declared that any car left on the freeway would be removed within 24 hours. Which they did for a while. Now they've gone back to not giving a shit.
That car will probably end up in my local impound yard. _________________ Yeah I got 31's. Both kinds. Z and R 31s |

Hmm, I have a problem.
I don't really want to have more than 1 car.
But I really want an e30, and I really want either a manual z31 or to fix mine and make it manual.
Do I sell up and buy an e30, or have 2 cars.. Either way, I'd stay in the z31 scene (what little scene we have in Australia atleast.. lol).
Oh, and the e30 would probably have a nissan engine by the time I'm done with it lol. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Haha true, I just worry that having 2 cars would mean the better of the 2 would get driven more and the other would just sit there..
I'll probably end up with 2 cars tho.. lol. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Agreed, a mates best mate had a mint HQ 1 tonner with a fresh 350 Chev loaned it to his cousin and the gearbox died on the motorway late at night. He decided to get a lift home and get a tow truck in the morning. they came back with a tow truck the next morning and where the car was parked they found a pile of broken glass. |

I also did nothing, due to lack of money. I've decided that in a few weeks, when I should have money, I'm going to buy paint and a vg33e and start ripping the car apart lol.
Yeah, I had a sudden burst of motivation to stick with what I have lol. Hardest part will be finding a manual conversion that's not stupidly overpriced.
That other manual one that's for sale is still a possibility lol. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Where's the service getting done?
The mechanic I spoke to a while back at the nissan dealer in wangara seems quite knowledgeable, can't remember his name but maybe go there and ask if you can speak to a mechanic about it first?
Edit: Alternatively, take it to a place like Hyperdrive (or Top Racing if you dont mind going SOR), I believe places like that do servicing too.
Edit 2:
When I get mine, I'm having a cruise, and you're coming lol. Hopefully I have time to go to the DPI tomorrow to get my phase 2 sorted. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

already booked in, at a place the previous owner took it.
Also, battery has had most charge in it it's ever had, car started in like 2 rotations, misfiring went away, mostly. Wont misfire but isn't running the best, still needs tunage.

Passed the aformentioned driving test, and on wednesday night I finished the 25 hours of log book driving. In the morning I do the HPT and get my P's
...Then go to the bank then school, other boring stuff haha.
A friend of mine is having the turbo shell when I'm done with it, and his plans for it are.. well, until you remember that it was already a parts car and the alternative is scrap metal, you'll cringe lol. It involves a commodore engine.... _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

V6.
It's pretty much just a "lets throw all the stuff we have laying around to make a complete car" sort of thing haha. If it's any good he's going to try rego it.
Work on my car starts saturday (probably). Going to paint it 2-tone, silver over dark grey.
Also, P's ftw! _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Lol, nevermind. It was a breif moment of stupidity and wanting to sell my SOHC VG turbo conversion. It came about because I was offered a cheap VG30DET, but I decided against that now. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -

Mmm. Not as much as I first thought by the way the z31performance guys talk about it, but still a fair bit. Hence why I'm back to looking for a cheap VG33E. I can't believe that I've seen a VG30DET for $600 cheaper than my only VG33E quote though lol, I really hope other places aren't as bad. _________________ - My Zed - My Space - For Sale -
