VG30DET 300Here's my '85 Z31. I put a VG30DET in it about four or five years ago with an Autronic SMC and MSD CDI. 3" turbo back exhaust with Magnaflow stainless muffler on the back. Since then, I've lowered it 1.5" with King Springs, fitted a Garret intercooler, raised the boost to 10PSi, and had my mate paint it. I did all the work myself apart from painting and tuning it.
Here it is in its original form. When I got the car, the only mod was a Kenwood casette deck.
And after I put the DET in. Don't ask where I got the silver top motor. The covers are painted.
